Abstract
► Carbonatation of NaMn1/3Fe2/3O2 into MnFe2O4/Na2CO3 was studied at 600 and 800 °C. ► MnFe2O4 growth was evaluated by quantitative in situ XRD analysis. ► XRD data were compared with thermogravimetric analysis. ► Increase of MnFe2O4 and Na2CO3 fractions in the mixture is not synchronous. ► Different temperatures promote different transformation pathways.
