This review provides an update of the recent developments in enantioselective vanadium-catalyzed transformations published since the beginning of 2011. A number of highly efficient reactions have been developed so far among them asymmetric sulfide oxidations, epoxidations, a-hydroxy acid oxidations, but also carbon−carbon bond-forming reactions spanning from cyanations of aldehydes, Friedel–Crafts reactions, Michael additions, oxidative couplings of polycyclic phenols to domino reactions.
