Abstract
⺠Two compounds using the β-diketonate-copper(II) block were synthesized. ⺠[Cu(Ftfac)2(NITmPy)2] display isolated molecular units. ⺠The molecular moieties of [Cu(Ftfac)2(Tempol)] are interconnected through H-bonds. ⺠The chain conformation gives rise to unusual alternating magnetic interactions.
