Abstract
New N,N,O-ligands are used for synthesis of stable heavier carbene analogs. It was found that germylenes based on these ligands are monomeric and stannylenes are agglomerated in solution. Ligands steric size determines the monomer or dimer structure in the case of plumbylenes.
