Abstract
The tris(tetradentate) ligand H6talacen is synthesized, which provides a meta-phenylene linkage of three salacen-type ligand compartments. The trinuclear complex [(talacen)CuII3] exhibits ferromagnetic interaction via the spin-polarization mechanism.
