Abstract
Four trinuclear copper(II) complexes, [(CuL1)3(μ3-OH)](NO3)2 (1), [(CuL2)3(μ3-OH)]I2·H2O (2), [(CuL3)3(μ3-OH)]I2 (3) and [(CuL1)3(μ3-OH)][CuI3] (4), have been derived from the three tridentate NNO donor Schiff bases (HL1, HL2 and HL3) and characterized structurally and magnetically. For all compounds, the cationic part is trinuclear with a Cu3OH core and coupled antiferromagnetically.
