Abstract
A new infinite 1D zigzag chain compound, {[Ni(dien)(μ1,5-dca)(H2O)](NO3)}n (dien = diethylenetriamine) has been synthesized and characterized by single crystal analysis. No measurable magnetic interaction was evidenced in this complex through variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements.
