Abstract
Six lanthanide two-dimensional network coordination polymers with the general formula of [Ln(pmida)(NO3)(H2O)]n, where Ln = La (1), Nd (2), Sm (3), Gd (4), Dy (5), Er (6) and pmida2â = N-(2-pyridylmethyl)iminodiacetate, have been synthesized by hydrothermal process and characterized by elemental analysis, Infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The luminescence properties of (3) and (5) were investigated.
