Abstract
We report syntheses and single crystal structures of eight novel Ag(I) coordination compounds using a positively charged and flexible ligand, 1,3-di(2-picolyl)imidazolium in different salts. The structural diversity of the compound and the conformation of the ligand were examined. In addition, anion exchange properties of several compounds were studied, showing a reversible anion exchange property.
