Abstract
Coordination compounds of general formula MX4[κ2-O(R)CH2CH(Râ²)ORâ²â²], 2a-i, have been prepared and characterized spectroscopically. The thermal stability has been studied: fragmentation of the organic ligand is observed in correspondence of low metalâhalide bond energy.
