Abstract
Three new indium phthalocyanines bearing eight N-alkyl- or N-arylsulfonamide groups were synthesized and their nonlinear transmission (NLT) properties were evaluated. All three phthalocyanines behave as reverse saturable absorbers with increasing efficiency of optical limiting in the sequence 7Â <Â 8Â <Â 9.
