Syntheses and characterization of five d10 coordination polymers derived from phenanthroline derivative and dicarboxylate mixed ligands

Five new Zn/Cd coordination polymers have been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. Compounds 1, 2 and 4 are 1D chain structures. While compounds 3 and 5 feature 2D (4, 4) topological network. The structural differences of these compounds show that the organic acids have important influences on the structures.
