Abstract
Oximic 1,2,4-triazoles underwent ring transformation to the novel 1,2,3,6-oxatriazines. Their Metallation with Ni(II) and Pd(II) ions led to unexpected ring transformation of the triazole ring to imidazole-N-oxide ring which coordinated with the metal ions forming a square planner complexes as indicated by the X-ray diffraction analysis.
