Abstract
Few p-phenylenediacetate complexes of Mn2+, Cu2+, Zn2+ and Cd2+ with nitrogen donor ancillary ligands are prepared are structurally characterized. In the case of manganese (2+) p-phenylenediacetate without an ancillary ligand a two dimensional coordination polymer is obtained. The p-phenylenediacetate complexes of copper (2+), zinc (2+) and cadmium (2+) with pyridine as ancillary ligand are one dimensional coordination polymers.
