Abstract
Novel nickel (II) complex supported by fluorinated ligand was synthesized and fully characterized. According to the X-ray complex (L2Ni2Br3·2Ð2Ð)+Brâ has distorted octahedral environment of nickel atoms. Been activated with either Et3Al2Cl3 or Et2AlCl, complex showed good activities in ethylene oligomerization. The addition of PPh3 to the Ni(II)-based systems enhanced the catalytic activity and switched the selectivity from terminal to internal olefins.97
