Abstract
We synthesized a series of M2+/4,4â²-bipy/5-sulfosalicylate complexes associating with the decarboxylation of the 5-sulfosalicylate or the hydrolysis of the DMF, both effects provide some supramolecular building blocks to assembly interesting supramolecular networks involving the weak interactions, such as Ïâ¯Ï, hydrogen-bonding, and C-Hâ¯Ï interactions. The thermal stability is largely related to the decarboxylation and hydrolysis.
