Abstract
Five ferrocenyl carboxylate cadmium(II) complexes were synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Complexes 2 and 3, as well as 4 and 5, were prepared by two different synthetic methods from the same original materials under the same reaction conditions. The differential pulse voltammetry properties of the complexes were also investigated.
