Synthesis, structure and magnetic properties of [CrCyclam(CC-6-methoxynaphthalene)2](TCNQ)n(1,2-dichloroethane) (n = 1, 2)

New chromium-acetylide-based magnetic materials, [CrCyclam(CC-NaphOMe)2](TCNQ)n(1,2-dichloroethane) (n = 1, 2) were prepared. The spin structure of the materials were characterized by the ferrimagnetic arrangement of [CrCyclam(CC-NaphOMe)2]+ and (TCNQ)− with the intermolecular interaction of 2J/kB = −19.5 and −4.6 K for n = 1 and 2, respectively.70
