Abstract
Metal xanthates by varying the metal centers were synthesized and characterized. Metal xanthates were explored as potential latent catalysts for curing of epoxy resin. The in-situ formation of metals sulfides upon thermal annealing of metal xanthates as the probable mechanism of curing of epoxy composite was illustrated.
