Abstract
The complexes CpRu(PPh3)2SR, 1 (R = C4H3O:Fu (a), C4H3S:Thi (b)) were prepared by the reaction of thiolate anions (FuSâ or ThiSâ) with CpRu(PPh3)2Cl. The one-pot reaction of CpRu(PPh3)2Cl, thiolate anions and dppa ligands gave CpRu(dppa)SR (dppa = bis(di-phenyl-osphino)methane:dppm (2); bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane:dppe (3)). The newly prepared complexes have been characterized by spectroscopic techniques and by elemental analysis. The crystal structure of CpRu(dppe)SThi (3b) has been determined by X-ray diffraction.
