Abstract
Two angular trinuclear, one C2-symmetric and one unsymmetrical, copper(II) complexes of an N4O-donor ligand derived from 4,4,9,9-tetramethyl-5,8-diazadodecane-2,11-dione and 1,3-diaminopropan-2-ol are described. Both the complexes exhibit S = ½ ground state due to antiferromagnetic coupling between the copper(II) centers.
