Abstract
A novel fluorinated iron phosphite Fe2(HPO3)F2 with the infinite -Fe-F-Fe-O-Fe- linkage and -Fe-F-Fe- layer has been characterized by X-ray crystallography and several other methods. Variable temperature magnetic measurements reveal the existence of antiferromagnetic interactions.
