Abstract
The crystal structure of the complex [Cu2EBTA(H2O)3]2 have been determined by X-ray diffraction. The complex is a centrosymmetric dimer with distorted octahedral coordination geometry around copper atoms. The stability and protonation constants of Cu(II) and Zn(II) ions EBTA complexes indicate their higher stability with respect to the corresponding complexes with the more flexible EGTA.
