Abstract
Vanadocene complexes of the type Cp2â²VX2 (Cpâ²Â = C5H5, CH3C5H4; X = dicyanamide, tricyanomethanide, dicyanonitrosomethanide) were prepared by the reaction of appropriate vanadocene dichloride with alkali metal salt of respective pseudohalide. The bonding pattern of pseudohalide ligands in prepared complexes was determined by spectroscopic measurements and X-ray diffraction analysis.
