Abstract
The coordination mode of thiourea PhNHC(S)NHP(O)(OPri)2 depends on the nature of metal ion. The 1,3-coordination via sulfur and phosphorylimide nitrogen atoms was found in the Ni(II) and Pd(II) complexes. This is the first example of the four-membered chelate ring formation in the complexes with ligands containing RC(S)NHP(Y)R2â² unit (YÂ =Â O,S). While the N,S-coordination is not realized in the CoII complex. The synthesized complexes were investigated by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, UV, IR, NMR spectroscopy, and EI mass-spectrometry.
