Abstract
Kinetic studies of the reaction between [Ru(medtra)(H2O)] and NO reveal that, despite being less labile than the corresponding hedtra3â and edta4â complexes, [Ru(medtra)(H2O)] exhibits the highest activity toward NO. In addition, NO scavenging studies with murine macrophages show that [Ru(medtra)(H2O)] is less toxic than the complex despite being least labile than the corresponding hedtra3â and edta4â complexes.
