Abstract
The coordination behaviour of ferrocenylthiosemicarbazone was investigated by reacting 2:1 molar ratio of ligand and [NiCl2(PPh3)2] in chloroform and ethanol medium. Two mole of ligand is coordinated to nickel. The new trinuclear complex is well characterized by analytical, spectral and X-ray diffraction studies. The redox behaviour of the complex has been examined by cyclic voltammetry to find out the electronic communication between the metal centers.
