Abstract
The crystal structure of [Fe(Cpâ)2][Ni(dsit)2] consists of layers composed by parallel chains, where side-by-side pairs of cations alternate with dimerized anions, â¯D+D+(AâAâ)D+D+(AâAâ)â¯. Short interdimer contacts give rise to a porous 3D network with the donors located in the cavities. The magnetic behavior results from the sum of nearly independent donors with the acceptors network with strong AFM coupled [Ni(dsit)2]22- dimers.
