Abstract
⺠Synthesis of heterobimetallic Ni(II)/Ru(II) and Zn(II)/Ru(II) complexes containing coordination and organometallic sites. ⺠Characterization by elemental analyses, IR, UV-Vis, 1H NMR and 31P NMR spectral studies. ⺠All complexes exhibit intraligand (Ï â Ïâ) fluorescence with high quantum yield in DMF. ⺠Electrochemical properties indicate a quasireversible redox behavior for all complexes. ⺠All complexes display the second harmonic generation (SHG) property.
