Abstract
⺠Three Cd(II) and Sn(II) diphosphonates with layered structures have been synthesized. ⺠Compound 1 is the first examples of cadmium phosphonates incorporating fluoride ions. ⺠Compound 3 is the first tin phosphonates assembled from aminodiphosphonic acids. ⺠Compounds 1 and 2 exhibit the blue-light luminescence emission at room temperature.
