Abstract
⺠A novel MnIII5NaI complex with polydentate hydroxy-rich Schiff-base ligands has been synthesized. ⺠The core unit evident in the complex is unprecedented in manganese complexes. ⺠The complex presents the overall antiferromagnetic intracluster interactions.
