Abstract
The synthesis and characterization of several new chiral C-ansa and not ansa zirconocene complexes with functionalised methoxythiolate and mercaptophenolate ligands is described. These ligands are coordinated to the metal centre in a monodentate fashion by the sulfur donor atom in the case of the metoxythiolate ligands and by the oxygen atom in the mercaptophenolate ligands. A new homoleptic six coordinated zirconium complex has been synthesized.
