Abstract
This paper describes the construction of six new organoantimony complexes derived from the self-assembly of the isomers of chlorophenylacetic acids with triphenylantimony(V) dichloride or tetraphenylantimony(V) bromide in 1:2 or 1:1 stoichiometries. They have been characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction, elemental analysis, IR, NMR (1H, 13C) spectroscopy. The structural analyses show that complex 1 and 3 have 2D network structures; complex 2 possesses a 1D polymeric chain structure and complex 4 has a 3D supramolecular framework.
