Abstract
We report synthesis and characterization of six anion-assisted metal-organic supramolecular assemblies constructed from pyridine-4-acetamide (PAT) and transition metal M, where M is CuII or CoII. The conformation of PAT has been described by the principal C(Py)-C(sp3)-C(sp2)-O torsion angle. Changes of PAT conformations and coordination geometry of M result in sp3-sp2 type supramolecular isomers and diverse hydrogen-bonded motifs.
