Two pyrazine-connected 1D copper(I) dppm polymers, {[Cu3(dppm)3Br2][Cu2(dppm)(pyz)Br2] Br · (CH3OH)2}n (1) and {[Cu2(dppm)2(NO3)2(pyz)](pyz)}n (2) (dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane, pyz = pyrazine) have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography, luminescence, IR, 1H, and 31P NMR. Structure analysis shows that complex 1 is a neutral 1D polymer in sine-curve-like form, while complex 2 is in linear form. And photoluminescent study of them shows that they exhibit fluorescent emission bands at ca. 434 nm and 431 nm, respectively.
