Abstract
Radical ligand 5-(4-(N-tert-butyl-N-aminoxylphenyl))pyrimidine (RL) gives isostructural, isomorphic M(RL)2(hfac)2 complexes with MÂ =Â Zn, Cu, Ni, Co, Mn. Crystallography, magnetism, and basic EPR studies are described. Magnetic analysis suggests multiple competing exchange interactions between spin units, allowing some modulation by the one structural variable in the systems - the metal dication.
