Abstract
A computational investigation of the relative ring Ï delocalization in a group of iridathiacycles shows that the introduction of the donor thiolate ligand in [(S-t-but)(PEt3)2]Ir(C6H8S) reduces Ï interactions between the metal and the ring sulfur and increases the localization of the ring Ï system.
