Abstract
The series of ethynyl thiophene ligands, R-CC-L-CC-R (RÂ =Â H, LÂ =Â (C4H2S); RÂ =Â SiMe3, LÂ =Â (C4H2S-C4H2S), (C4H2S-C4H2S-C4H2S), (C4H2S)-(C14H8)-(C4H2S)), have been used to link two “Os3(CO)10” cluster carbonyl units together successfully.
