Abstract
Interactions between Cp2MoCl2 and ribonucleosides and ribonucleoside monophosphates have been studied by 1H, 31P and 13C NMR spectroscopy at 4 ⩽ pD ⩽ 9. Ribonucleosides bind Cp2Mo2+ exclusively through their ribose moieties while ribonucleoside monophosphates form three types of complex, namely N,PO-macrochelates, PO,O3â²-coordinated species and O2â²,O3â²-chelates.
