Abstract
H(PEt3)3Pt3(μ-PPh2)3 is a unique example of a 46eâ phosphido-bridged Pt3 cluster. The stereochemistry from the original X-ray diffraction study is questioned and an alternative one is proposed based on a DFT optimization and reasonable chemical and electronic properties. A suggestion for the actual contents of the used crystal is proposed.59
