Abstract
► Hetero-bimetallic TiIV/ReVII complexes with Re-O-Ti-O-Ti-Re core are synthesized. ► ReO4− anion is activated by coordination with Lewis acidic metal center. ► Coordinated perrhenate groups are capable of catalytic oxidation of sulfides.
