Abstract
Azoimidazolium ions have attracted Clâ and chlorometallates ZnCl42-, PtCl62- through electrostatic force and hydrogen bonds. Water molecules are embedded in the supramolecular lattice. Aquated Clâ forms 10 membered supracycle through hydrogen bonding with imidazolium ion. Hydrogen bonding, ÏÂ·Â·Â·Ï interaction develops rectangular channel space in which water molecules present.
