Abstract
Two new dicyanamide bridged 1D polynuclear copper(II) complexes of a hydrazone and a Schiff base ligand have been synthesised and structures of both the complexes and their crystal packing arrangements have been established by X-ray crystallography. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurement studies indicate weak antiferromagnetic interaction operates among the copper(II) centres in both 1 (JÂ =Â â0.10Â cmâ1) and 2 (JÂ =Â â1.41Â cmâ1).
