Abstract
The rate of photoinduced energy-transfer from the Re(I) to the Ru(II) terminus of the complex shown, based on a new bis-phenanthroline bridging ligand containing an 18-crown-6 spacer between the termini, has been evaluated and related to the molecular conformation.
