Abstract
Replacement of two of the carboxylate ligands of several dirhodium(II)tetracarboxylates by lacunary polytungstates generates complexes that show enhanced kinetic stabilities in aqueous solution and offer new possibilities as targeted “heavy atom” phasing agents for structure determination of large biomolecules.
