Abstract
Rate constant of electron transfer increases in the reaction; CoIII(en)2(Br)(L)2++Fe(CN)64-â{COIII(en)2(Br)(L)2+;Fe(CN)64-}âproducts (LÂ =Â RC6H4NH2) in binary solvent mixtures. A transition state stabilized by hydrogen bonding is as shown. This reactivity scheme can be accounted using vigorous statistical model equation of the form; YS=Y0+âi=1naiXi.
