Abstract
Four Cu(II) bis-hexafluoroacetylacetonate complexes containing 2-ethynylpyridine (1), imidazole (2), N,N,Nâ²,Nâ²-tetramethylethylenediamine (3) and tetracyanoethylene (4) ligands have been synthesized and characterized. A pentacoordinate Cu(II) complex was obtained for 2-ethynylpyridine ligand, while for imidazole, N,N,Nâ²,Nâ²-tetramethylethylenediamine and tetracyanoethylene ligands, distorted octahedral environment were observed.
