Abstract
- A two-step synthesis of 2- and 4-trifluoromethylated dinitrotoluenes is developed.
- The method does not demand to carry out the fluorination reaction in HF media.
- The synthesized toluenes were converted into 4- and 6-trifluoromethylated nitroindoles.
