Abstract
The engineering of polar crystal structures of perfluoroarylbenzimidazoles has been accomplished using Ï-Ï stacking interactions: 1-(4-nitrilo-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorophenyl)benzimidazole and 3-(2,3,5,6-tetrafluoropyridyl)-2-methylbenzimidazole crystallize in the space groups Cc and Pca21, respectively.
