Abstract
⺠The Cd(BF4)(TaF6) and Cd(BF4)(BiF6) compounds were synthesized and characterized. ⺠Eight fluorine atoms form distorted square anti-prismatic Cd2+ coordination sphere. ⺠These compounds are not isostructural with the earlier studied Ca, Sr, Ba and Pb analogues.
